James Patrick is about to celebrate it’s 21st birthday. Named after our two sons James and Patrick, we have grown a family business with an enviable reputation for good food.
Set in an upmarket parade of shops in the West Hull village of Hessle, we stock and produce only the finest foods and wines. Our delicatessen counter is filled with fresh produce and freshly made salads from coleslaw to orzo with roast vegetables. Antipasta, olives and pestos from Italy and fine cured hams and salamis, complete our European selection. A choice of fine British and Continental cheeses compliment our fine wines. We also cook our own honey roast hams, turkey, and roast leg of pork with crackling, but our home-cooked topside of beef, cooked rare, is what brings our customers back time and time again.
Our kitchen produces our own tarts, pies, pates, terrines and frittatas which prove very popular with our abundant lunchtime trade. Our home-cooked cakes and slices are incredibly popular, from our Italian almond biscuits and succulent chocolate brownies to inventive flapjacks and chocolate hazelnut caramel slice. They are the ideal treat to compliment our Lavazza coffee, freshly brewed to order.
